A birthday on a yacht in Cabo, in short
A birthday yacht rental in Cabo costs from USD 869 for three hours on the Bayliner 33 to USD 4,499 on the McKinna 70, which includes a chef, complimentary drinks and a celebration setup. In between sit the Sea Ray 55 for fifteen with air conditioning and the Regal 45 for twelve with a bow sunpad and an A/C cabin. Every price is for the whole boat, so the cost per guest drops as the group grows.
Three hours covers the Arch and the sea lions, a swim stop off Lover's Beach and a toast on the way back along Médano Beach. Our birthday yacht guide covers cake, decor and sunset timing, and the proposal guide has the spots and the timing for a ring.

Cake, decorations and what the port allows
Bring the cake and tell us if it needs cooler space, or ask for a celebration cake when you book and we order it for your date. Decorations are cardstock and a sign: since October 2026 the Port Captain no longer allows balloons on board, and loose confetti and glitter blow into the sea. A professional photographer can join for USD 180, with all the photos from your charter, paid directly to the photographer. Add it in the planner, or take your own photos. Flowers, drone shots of the group at the Arch and hotel pickup are arranged on request and quoted separately. The McKinna 70 includes its celebration setup at no extra charge.

Food and drinks for a celebration
On every yacht except the Azimut 70 and the McKinna 70 you bring your own drinks, and the crew keeps them on ice; no alcohol is sold on board. Order food in the planner: the Mexican feast serves six to eight for MXN 2,600, cheese and charcuterie boards start at MXN 780, and breakfast on board works for a sunrise birthday. The McKinna 70 cooks a multi-course menu on board and serves complimentary drinks.
Anniversaries and proposals
For two people, the Bayliner 30 and the Chaparral 28 keep it quiet, and the crew knows where to slow down for the question. Mention the occasion in the request so the captain plans the stop at the Arch for the right light; sunset is the classic, and a sunrise departure gives you the bay almost to yourselves.
