The hotel
Paradisus Los Cabos is an all-inclusive, adults-only beach resort run by Meliá Hotels International in the Cabo Real area of the Tourist Corridor, between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. It is about 18.2 km from the Cabo San Lucas Marina, around 21 minutes by car without traffic; at rush hour the drive takes longer. The 350-room property was the Meliá Cabo Real until it reopened as a Paradisus on December 23, 2016.
When Meliá announced the conversion in 2016, it described the resort as sitting on the largest swimmable beach in the Cabo Corridor. As on any beach here, check the flags before going in.1
History and curious facts
For years this was the Meliá Cabo Real. In November 2016 Meliá Hotels International announced a 35 million dollar renovation to turn it into Paradisus Los Cabos, on 14.5 acres surrounded by the Cabo Real golf course, about 25 minutes from the international airport. The plan kept 350 rooms, including 98 adults-only Royal Service suites with butler service, 30 family suites and 28 swim-up suites, along with six restaurants, one of them a fine-dining venue named for chef Martín Berasategui, and a ballroom for up to 1,100 people. The resort reopened under the new name on December 23, 2016. In October 2023 local press reported that it would become adults-only in January 2024, making it the third adults-only Paradisus after Paradisus La Perla and Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote, and that 49 renovated suites would form a section called The Reserve, with private pools.

Boarding docks
There is no single dock for every boat. Each yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas, and your boarding pass has the exact one with a map link. These are the meeting points and the yachts that use each one:
Your yacht day
With only adults at the resort, the outings that fit best are the sunset sail for couples, a birthday or bachelorette trip for groups of friends, and the snorkel trip for anyone who wants to see more of the Sea of Cortez than the beach in front. From December to April there is also whale watching. Book the transfer with us: the driver picks you up at the hotel, collects the fare, and gets you to the Marina in about 21 minutes when there is no traffic, then brings you back after the boat docks.
