Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos is a beachfront suite resort run by TAFER Hotels & Resorts at km 17.5 of the Carretera Transpeninsular, on the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. It is about 15.7 km from the Cabo San Lucas Marina, around 22 minutes by car without traffic; at rush hour the drive takes longer. It opened in 2019 as the second Garza Blanca, after the original in Puerto Vallarta.
The resort itself advises against swimming in front of the property because of seasonal ocean conditions and strong currents, and recommends nearby Santa María or Chileno Bay for a swim.1

The story of Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos
TAFER Hotels & Resorts, the group that runs the Garza Blanca brand, opened this resort in early 2019 as its second Garza Blanca, following the one in Puerto Vallarta. In May 2021 a third Garza Blanca opened in Cancún, the brand's first property on the Mexican Caribbean. The Los Cabos resort has around 300 suites and residences, from junior suites to two-bedroom units and ocean-view penthouses, and it offers both an all-inclusive plan and a European plan. It welcomes families as well as couples.

Since the sea in front of Garza Blanca is not for swimming, a boat day is the easiest way to get into calm water during your stay. A snorkel trip is the obvious choice, and families can book the family outing. Couples may prefer the sunset sail, groups of friends can do a birthday or bachelorette trip, and from December to April there is whale watching. Book the transfer with us: the driver picks you up at the resort, collects the fare, and the ride to the Marina takes about 22 minutes without traffic. He brings you back to km 17.5 when the boat returns.
