The hotel
Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is a beachfront hotel on Médano Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, operated by Noble House Hotels & Resorts and known until 2022 as Cabo Villas Beach Resort & Spa. It is about 0.6 km in a straight line from the Cabo San Lucas marina, around 2 minutes by car without traffic, and the drive takes longer at rush hour. The property has about 310 rooms and suites in three towers, the newest of them a nine-story tower that opened in 2022.
Corazón Cabo sits right on Médano Beach, the long sandy beach that faces Cabo San Lucas Bay. The hotel describes it as the swimmable stretch of the Cabo San Lucas shoreline, and its beach club is set up directly on the sand.1
History and curious facts
The hotel started life in 1999 as Cabo Villas, a resort on Médano Beach that for years sold part of its inventory as timeshare. In January 2017 Cachet Hospitality Group and the owner and developer of Cabo Villas, Chris Erickson, announced the Cachet Beach Hotel & Beach Club, 77 redesigned rooms that were planned as the first phase of a larger project called Cachet Corazon. That second phase never opened under the Cachet name. Instead, Noble House Hotels & Resorts took over and on February 1, 2022 presented the property as Corazón Cabo, its first hotel in Mexico, after a renovation valued at 100 million dollars. The centerpiece of that work is a new nine-story tower with 187 rooms and 17 suites designed by Mexican architect Arnoldo Rábago of RACO, with interiors by Carlita Alexander and Sofía Idoate. The older Bayview and Medano towers, with multi-bedroom suites and kitchens, stayed in use, and some areas such as the signature restaurant and meeting spaces were finished after the 2022 reopening. Today the hotel works as a regular hotel rather than a timeshare.

The granite arch at Land's End marks the point where the Pacific Ocean becomes the Gulf of California, and sea lions often gather on the rocks around it. It is visible across the bay from Médano Beach.6
The hotel is close enough to the center of Cabo San Lucas that guests can walk into town for restaurants and shops.1
Getting to the marina
Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is 0.6 km in a straight line from Marina Cabo San Lucas, and the closest boarding dock is Fisherman's Landing. The trip is about 2 min by car without traffic, according to the route OSRM calculates with OpenStreetMap data. At rush hour the drive takes longer, so give yourself a margin before boarding.
We can book a driver who picks you up at the hotel, takes you to your yacht and brings you back. Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa is in Zone 3: Cabo San Lucas, Hacienda Encantada, Puerto Los Cabos. The prices below are per vehicle and in USD, and you pay them to the driver on the day, separately from the yacht: the first price in cash, or the second by card on the driver's terminal, which adds a 5% fee.

Boarding docks
There is no single dock for every boat. Each yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas, and your boarding pass has the exact one with a map link. These are the meeting points and the yachts that use each one:
Your yacht day
From Corazón Cabo the trip to the boat is one of the shortest in town. Our driver picks you up at the hotel entrance, drives you to the Cabo San Lucas marina, about 0.6 km away in a straight line, and leaves you at the dock where your yacht is moored; you pay the transfer to the driver, and the price depends on the hotel zone. Because the hotel draws couples and groups of friends who come for the rooftop and the beach club, a sunset outing fits well: you leave the marina in the late afternoon, cruise the bay toward Land's End and are back in time for dinner downtown. Groups celebrating a birthday or a bachelorette party usually prefer a longer charter with a snorkel stop, and from December to April a whale watching trip is the obvious choice.
