For breakfast near the Cabo marina, Captain Tony's opens first at 5:30 AM, Baja Cantina and Fisherman's Landing open at 7 AM, and Solomon's Landing opens at 8 AM. The Office on Médano Beach also starts at 7 AM. Those are the hours as of October 2026; confirm before you go. If your boat leaves at 7 or 8 AM, either eat at Captain Tony's or order breakfast on the yacht.

Which marina restaurants serve breakfast, and when do they open?

Restaurant Opens (as of Oct 2026) Where
Captain Tony's 5:30 AM Marina boardwalk, across from the Pabellón Cultural
Baja Cantina 7 AM Marina, by Docks L, M and N
Fisherman's Landing 7 AM Marina, by the Cabo Escape terminal
The Office 7 AM On Médano Beach
Solomon's Landing 8 AM In the heart of the marina

Hours change, and The Office closes for part of September each year. A quick call or a look at their social accounts the day before saves a surprise.

How do you time breakfast so you don't miss the boat?

Work backward from your departure time. Be at your meeting point 15 minutes before the boat leaves; the captain gives a short safety briefing first. Before that, leave yourself time to get the check and walk over, and before that, time to eat without rushing.

A simple rule: sit down about an hour and a half before departure. Here's how that plays out with the opening hours above.

Departure Be at the dock by Breakfast that fits
7 AM 6:45 AM Captain Tony's, or breakfast on board
8 AM 7:45 AM Captain Tony's; a quick one at Baja Cantina or Fisherman's Landing
9 AM 8:45 AM Captain Tony's, Baja Cantina, Fisherman's Landing, The Office
10 AM 9:45 AM All five, Solomon's Landing included

Our departures run from 7 AM to 7 PM. The Sea Ray 65 meets you at Fisherman's Landing from 8 AM, so its guests can eat there and walk straight to the boat.

If you eat at The Office, remember you're on Médano Beach, not at the marina. Add the time to get from the beach to your dock.

What if your hotel is out on the corridor?

The marina is a walk from the Médano Beach hotels and a taxi ride from the resorts along the tourist corridor. If you're staying on the corridor, add the ride to the times in the table, plus a few minutes to find your meeting point the first time.

For a 7 AM boat from the corridor, the calmer plan is coffee at the hotel and breakfast ordered for the yacht from our menu. You get to the dock on time and eat once you're on the water.

What should you eat before a morning on the water?

Whatever you'd eat on a normal morning. If someone in your group gets queasy on boats, a lighter plate and plenty of water tend to sit better than a big fried breakfast right before the ride out to the Arch.

Every one of our yachts carries a cooler, so you can also bring your own water, juice or a thermos of coffee on board.

How do you confirm the hours before you go?

Hours here are as of October 2026, and restaurants change them, so check the day before. These are the numbers and Instagram accounts the restaurants list:

Restaurant Phone Instagram
Captain Tony's +52 624 143 6797 @restaurantcaptaintonys
Baja Cantina +52 624 154 0076 @bajacantinamarina
Fisherman's Landing +52 624 143 7275 @anglerslandingcabo

If you're a big group, calling ahead also lets the restaurant know you'll walk in at opening time.

Where should you eat if your yacht boards by a restaurant?

Three of our meeting points are restaurants, and that makes breakfast easy.

The Chaparral 28 and the Bayliner 30 board by Captain Tony's, so you can eat there and find your boat right outside.

The Azimut 45 meets you at Baja Cantina. You have breakfast at the palapa and meet the boat at the same spot.

The Sea Ray 65 meets you at Fisherman's Landing, where you can eat on the terrace before you board.

Every other yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas. Your exact dock, a map link and a photo come on your boarding pass. Our guide to Cabo marina restaurants has the full table of which yacht boards where.

What can you order at each breakfast spot?

Captain Tony's, from 5:30 AM

The earliest kitchen on the marina. It opens before dawn so anglers can eat and pick up packed lunches before they head out. Chilaquiles are on the menu, and the wood-fired oven that makes its pizzas has been going for more than 30 years.

Baja Cantina, from 7 AM

On the marina since 1991, by its own account. The breakfast menu has chilaquiles, Steak Benedict, pancakes and huevos a la mexicana, served under an open-air palapa looking over the boats.

Fisherman's Landing, from 7 AM

An open-air spot on the water by the Cabo Escape terminal, where you can see sea lions from the terrace. It serves breakfast from 7 AM, and it's where the Sea Ray 65 boards.

The Office on the Beach, from 7 AM

The Office started as a palapa on Médano Beach in the 1970s and now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a view of the bay. Good if you're staying at a Médano hotel and want breakfast with your feet near the sand.

Solomon's Landing, from 8 AM

In the heart of the marina, with a breakfast menu that runs six pages. It was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" for its chilaquiles and French toast. Best for departures at 10 AM or later.

Can you have breakfast on the yacht instead?

Yes, and for a 7 AM boat it's often the easier plan. You order breakfast in our planner when you book. Prices are in pesos, cash; card adds 16%.

On-board breakfast Price (MXN, cash)
Chilaquiles and beans 325
Huevos rancheros 325
French toast 325
Banana pancakes 325
Yogurt and granola 325
Sunny-side up eggs 416
Sirloin steak sandwich, chicken sandwich or serrano and burrata focaccia 520 each
French toast with fruit from the on-board breakfast menu

Drinks from the menu include bottled water (MXN 17), soda (MXN 51), Gatorade (MXN 68) and Red Bull or Monster (MXN 102). We don't sell alcohol; guests 18 and over can bring their own.

On the Azimut 70 and the McKinna 70, food is part of the charter. The Azimut 70 brings a set menu and the McKinna 70 has a chef on board.

What's the best breakfast boat for two?

Our Just the two of you experience is built around a sunrise breakfast or a sunset, usually two hours. Book a 7 AM departure, order breakfast for the boat and eat it on board on the way to the Arch. From early December to late February the sun rises between about 6:45 and 7:03 AM, so a 7 AM boat leaves the dock right around sunrise. Our sunrise guide has the times for every month.

Two-hour prices are per boat with 16% tax included: USD 519 (MXN 9,799) on the Chaparral 28, USD 549 (MXN 10,499) on the Bayliner 30 and USD 879 (MXN 16,799) on the Sea Ray 40. The 15% crew tip is customary and not included.

How do you book a morning boat with breakfast?

Pick your departure time first, then use the timing table to choose between a restaurant and breakfast on board. In the planner you choose the yacht, the hours and the food in one go, and your boarding pass tells you exactly where to show up.
