The restaurants you can walk to from the Cabo San Lucas marina docks are Baja Cantina, Captain Tony's, Fisherman's Landing, Solomon's Landing, Lorenzillo's and Nicksan. Three of them double as meeting points for our yachts: the Chaparral 28 and Bayliner 30 board by Captain Tony's, the Azimut 45 at Baja Cantina and the Sea Ray 65 at Fisherman's Landing. Captain Tony's opens earliest, at 5:30 AM (as of October 2026; confirm before you go).

This page is the map of the whole marina food scene from a boat day point of view: where to eat, when it opens and how far it puts you from your boat.

Which yacht boards at which spot on the marina?

Each yacht boards at its own dock in Marina Cabo San Lucas. Some of those docks are named after the restaurant or shop right next to them, which makes them easy to find. Your boarding pass comes with the exact spot, a map link and a photo of the meeting point.

Meeting point Yachts that board there What's there
Captain Tony's Chaparral 28, Bayliner 30 Restaurant on the boardwalk, across from the Pabellón Cultural
Arte Surf (O Dock 2) Bayliner 33, Maxum 45 Landmark next to the dock
Ultrajewels (Dock E) Sea Ray 36, Pontoon 38, Sea Ray 40 Landmark next to the dock
IGY Marina Fuel Dock Regal 45, Sea Ray 55, Azimut 70, McKinna 70 The marina's fuel dock
Baja Cantina Azimut 45 Restaurant by Docks L, M and N
Fisherman's Landing Sea Ray 65 Restaurant by the Cabo Escape terminal

None of them charges a dock fee, the Sea Ray 65 included. The Sea Ray 65 has one extra rule: it must be back by 8 PM, when the Cabo Escape terminal closes. If you want to compare the boats side by side before you pick one, the fleet page has them all.

What are the restaurants on the Cabo marina?

Here are the six, with the hours each one lists. All hours are as of October 2026; confirm before you go.

Captain Tony's

Captain Tony's sits on the boardwalk across from the Pabellón Cultural, and it's where the Chaparral 28 and Bayliner 30 meet you. It started as a palapa with a couple of plastic tables and its wood-fired oven has been going for more than 30 years. People come for the pizza (bacon and shrimp is the one it's known for), plus chilaquiles, sashimi and tacos.

It opens at 5:30 AM so anglers can eat before they head out, and the walls are covered in photos of catches from decades back. The sign out front says "You hook it, we cook it." Our full guide to Captain Tony's has more.

Baja Cantina

Baja Cantina has been on the marina since 1991, by its own account. It's an open-air palapa looking over the boats, right at the entrance to Docks L, M and N, and it's the meeting point for the Azimut 45. The menu runs from seafood to Mexican and international plates, with guacamole made at your table and big screens for games.

Breakfast is a strong reason to come early: chilaquiles, Steak Benedict, pancakes and huevos a la mexicana. Awards ceremonies for Bisbee's Black and Blue fishing tournament have been held here. Read our guide to Baja Cantina for the details.

Fisherman's Landing

Fisherman's Landing is an open-air bar and seafood spot on the water by the Cabo Escape terminal. It's the meeting point for the Sea Ray 65.

Think lobster with lemon butter, blackened sea bass, dorado six ways, sushi and tacos, plus a margarita served in a wooden bowl. You can see sea lions from the terrace, and they cook your catch. See our guide to Fisherman's Landing.

Solomon's Landing

Solomon's Landing is in the middle of the marina and serves Baja seafood. Breakfast starts at 8 AM, and the breakfast menu runs six pages. It was featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" for its chilaquiles and French toast.

Lorenzillo's

Lorenzillo's calls itself the house of lobster. Its terrace hangs out over the marina, at Boulevard Lázaro Cárdenas and the Malecón. It opens at noon, so save it for lunch or dinner.

Nicksan

Nicksan is a sushi spot in Plaza de la Danza, next to the marina, open since 1994. The tuna tostada and lobster maki are the dishes to know. It's a short walk from the docks, which makes it an easy dinner after an afternoon on the water.

Boats tied up at the docks of Marina Cabo San Lucas on a clear day

Should you eat before or after your charter?

It depends on your departure time and how your group handles a moving boat.

Morning charters

A light breakfast an hour or more before you board is the usual move. Captain Tony's opens at 5:30 AM, so it works even for our earliest departures at 7 AM. Baja Cantina and Fisherman's Landing open at 7 AM and fit a boat at 8:30 or later. We go through the timing hour by hour in our guide to breakfast near the Cabo marina.

Midday charters

A heavy lunch right before the swells around the Arch is not everyone's favorite combination. Many groups eat after, or order food for the boat instead.

Sunset charters

These are the easiest to pair with dinner. Yachts sail until 8 PM, and boats from the marina can stay anchored in the bay until 10 PM. When you're back at the dock, Lorenzillo's and Nicksan are a short walk away. If you're on the Sea Ray 65, you step off right at Fisherman's Landing, which serves until 10 PM.

Before any charter

Whatever you choose, be at your meeting point 15 minutes before departure. The captain gives a short safety briefing before you leave.

Can you order food on the yacht instead?

Yes. You can order food for the boat in our planner when you book. Prices are in pesos, cash, and paying by card adds 16%.

On-board menu Price (MXN, cash)
Chilaquiles and beans, huevos rancheros, French toast or banana pancakes 325 each
Burrito box lunch 289
Turkey breast or tuna box lunch 238 each
Mexican feast for 6 to 8 people 2,600
Small cheese board 780
Chilaquiles with beans from the on-board breakfast menu

Two of our yachts include food in the price. The Azimut 70 comes with a menu on board: fish ceviche, sashimi, beef or chicken fajitas and guacamole with chips. The McKinna 70 has a chef on board who cooks a multi-course menu.

On drinks: we don't sell alcohol on any yacht. Guests 18 and over can bring their own. The Azimut 70 and McKinna 70 crews serve complimentary drinks as a courtesy.

How do you plan a marina food day around a boat?

Start with the boat and let the meal fit around it. Pick your yacht by group size and the hours you want. Then look at its meeting point in the table above and choose the restaurant closest to it.

Prices are per boat, with 16% tax included. The 15% crew tip is customary and not included. Two-hour prices start at USD 519 (MXN 9,799) on the Chaparral 28, USD 879 (MXN 16,799) on the Sea Ray 40 and USD 1,249 (MXN 23,799) on the Azimut 45.

For more on the marina itself, how to get there from your hotel and where cruise tenders land, see our Marina Cabo San Lucas guide. When you know your date and group size, the planner shows which yachts are free and lets you add food for the boat in the same step.
